Company Introduction
Our company, Vamsoft Ltd. was founded in April, 1995 by Gyula Karakas and Dezso Skripecz in Budapest, Hungary. We are a privately owned company, focusing on software development for Microsoft® Windows.
ORF
ORF is spam filter and email security software for Microsoft® Exchange and
IIS SMTP Servers that we began developing in 2002. ORF was born from an
in-house software that we built to stop an NDR attack targeting our domain—result
of the spam campaign a spammer sent the name of our domain. Once the attack was
beaten off, we recognized that there was market for a reasonably priced software that
deals with spam. After just 3 months of development, ORF Standard Edition was born, followed by ORF
Enterprise Edition within a year.
Since then, we are constantly improving ORF with new features and polishing the existing ones. We are proud that ORF became a recognized anti-spam solution, chosen by thousands of network administrators worldwide from the USA to Namibia.
Other Products
In addition to ORF, Vamsoft offers a complex customs information software for the local Hungarian market, called Kompakt ZOLL.
