exchange2010 frequent error 'Vamsoft ORF SMTP Receive Agent' exceeded 90000 milliseconds while handling event 'OnEndOfData'

 
Any clue? this message is popping up frequently in my new installation.

The execution time of agent 'Vamsoft ORF SMTP Receive Agent' exceeded 90000 milliseconds while handling event 'OnEndOfData' for message with InternetMessageId: '<. This is an unusual amount of time for an agent to process a single event. However, Transport will continue processing this message.

1.5 minutes seems an unusually long time to check an email indeed... Do you have Tarpit Delay enabled (which may held up incoming emails)? If yes, I suggest to disable it (Configuration / Tests / Tests) and save your configuration to apply the change (by pressing Ctrl + S).
