ORF Pitches 6th No-hitter in 10 Games

ORF once again proved its exceptional performance by completing another round of tests with 0.00% false positives. This is the 6th test in 10 periods that ORF manage to completely avoid falsely classifying legitimate emails as spam. ORF is unrivalled in this regard amongst the cream of spam filtering products. Along with this oustanding score, ORF also achieved a 99.17% spam catch rate.

ORF On A Roll in VBSpam testing

With one of the highest catch rates to date, ORF managed to attain the 9th VBSpam Verified certificate in a row from Virus Bulletin's VBSpam program. The recent round of tests included hundreds of legitimate newsletters in various languages and topics to better simulate real life email traffic. Not only ORF has adopted to the changing test conditions without any tweaking, it managed to improve its catch rate performance to 99.25%.

ORF Continues Breaking Records

ORF continues to outperform all competitors in its 7th round of VBSpam tests. Out of the 7 tests thus far, ORF managed to hold a perfect false positive score in 5, breaking its own record set previously. No other product has been able to achieve this in the 2 years the test has been running. Even with new features being put to the test (whitelisting, blacklisting), ORF proved to handle the test with ease.

ORF managed a perfect score on this round of VBSpam's testing, achieving a 0.00% false positive rate overall. During the 15 days of testing the product received 89,027 spam e-mails, none of which were falsely classified.

Downtime skews ORF's VBSpam results

Vamsoft ORF, leading software based anti-spam solution for Microsoft® Exchange and IIS SMTP achieved VBSpam Verified award for the fourth consecutive test period.

Of the 19 products evaluated during the 14 day period, ORF retained its position in the top tier of the tested solutions with an exceptionally low false positive rate. Due to certain technical circumstances, all tested solutions in the latest round of tests received a noticeably lower number of emails than in the previous rounds. Of the 95,000 emails tested, ORF classified only one sender as spam, but the low number of e-mails had a significant effect on the weight of false positives.

ORF improves catch rate to 99.32% in 3rd VBSpam testing period

The independent test conducted by Virus Bulletin's Anti-spam team included 19 leading spam filtering solutions from around the world. The aim of the testing is to benchmark available spam filters in their ability to protect inboxes from the onslaught of spam e-mails. The testing and verification procedure has become an industry standard in the measuring and benchmarking the efficiency of anti-spam solutions. Of the 19 products evaluated during the 1 week period, ORF managed to improve its already outstanding spam catch rate to 99.32%. The 4 month 0.00% false positive streak was somewhat distorted by 2 senders with domains registered on the SORBS DUL list due to misconfigured static/dynamic IP ranges.
